About Me

I have a master's degree in psychology from Harvard University and more than ten years of experience coaching women and families through their struggles and joys in areas of economic self-sufficiency, family and relationship dynamics, physical and emotional well-being, and trauma. I have coached families experiencing homelessness to move to economic independence and mentored teen parents as they learned to build a strong family.

As much or more than my educational and professional experience though, I value my personal experiences. I will support you with what I have learned in my own journey through difficult family situations, painful relationships, trauma, and mothering through it all. I have had to go deep and reach wide to find my own healing, and so I hope you can feel that I walk beside you on your path. I hope that what I have learned can be of service to you and bring you hope. What changed everything for me was to begin to see myself not as broken and in need of fixing, but as already whole, already good, already loved, already love itself.

I offer trauma-informed and positive psychology-based individual coaching, family coaching, group workshops and retreats for all ages. I am a licensed Desire Map facilitator and use the Desire Map principles throughout my coaching. (See The Desire Map.) Other practices I incorporate are shadow work, inner child work, identity and self concept development, and meditation.

A few fun facts about me: I am a world schooling mom to three teenagers. I will move across the world on a whim. I can be moved to tears in an instant by a song. I have to live by the sea. No other option.
